Parents are the backbone of CYT! Without them, CYT would not be the family-oriented organization that it is and could not produce the high-quality community shows that it does.

At least one parent of each student cast in the production must serve on a CYT Parent Committee. Options include, but are not limited to: costumes, props, greenroom, sets, front of house, public relations, meal and party, and tech.

Christian Community Theater (CCT) is a community theater program for ages 18+ that has open auditions to the general public. At CYT Nashville, our summer CCT show is our chance for our alumni, parents and other wonderfully talented adults to join together to perform on stage. In the past, we have performed shows such as Godspell and The Drowsy Chaperone. 

Auditions are typically held in mid-May and rehearsals are held weekly on Tues/Thurs evenings from mid-May to end of July when the show goes to the stage! We hire excellent artistic teams to come help our cast make magic, so come be part of CCT and see what the talk is all about!
