At Christian Youth Theater (CYT) Nashville, every rehearsal, every class, and every performance tells a story of creativity, confidence, and character.
 
As our organization continues to grow in heart and impact, our focus for this season is stability—building a strong foundation that allows us to continue serving our students and families with excellence for years to come.
 
Behind every curtain call are countless moving parts: sound equipment, rehearsal spaces, costumes, sets, payroll, and more. Each of these details helps create the meaningful, high-quality experiences that define CYT Nashville.
 
This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising $5,000 to strengthen our operations, support our dedicated artistic teams, and build a sustainable scholarship fund so every student can participate in the magic of theater. 
 
Did you know…

• Royalties: Each show’s performance rights cost an average of $5,000.
• Class and Rehearsal Space: Renting spaces for classes and rehearsals costs up to $6,000 per month.
• Performance Venues: Our venues for shows average $8,000-$10,000 per production.
• Barn Renovations: Adding electricity to make the barn more functional for our volunteers costs around $15,000. 
• Teacher and Artistic Team Payroll: Each season, payroll for our talented teachers and artistic team exceeds $20,000.

This year alone, we’ve provided over $3,000 in scholarships and we aim to raise an additional $3,000 to ensure all students can have access to classes and show next season.
