Step into a deeper level of expression in Instruments of Praise, a worship dance workshop designed for teens ready to grow both artistically and spiritually. Led by Heather Wise and Jennifer Jackson, this class explores how movement can become a powerful form of storytelling and worship. Through intentional choreography, technique, and guided creative exercises, students will learn to connect emotion, faith, and performance while developing confidence and authenticity as artists. This workshop challenges dancers to move beyond steps and into purpose—using their gifts to communicate something meaningful.
Heather Wise is a professional dancer, actor, and singer with over 35 years of experience in musical theatre, film, and commercial performance. She has performed with companies including Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line (Dance Captain for the
Disney Magic), Universal Studios, and more. With extensive training across multiple dance styles, Heather is passionate about mentoring young artists and helping them use their gifts with excellence, purpose, and heart.
Jennifer Jackson’s love of choreography began in her hometown as a director for Honolulu Dance Co. She enjoyed a 13-year career with Walt Disney World Entertainment as an Equity performer, opening cast member of Tokyo Disney Seas, and Staging Specialist overseeing performers and show quality. Other performance and production projects include working with the NBA, NFL, NASCAR, and corporate entertainment production companies. Since settling in Franklin, TN she has taught dance at a handful of studios, churches, and schools, but over the last 11 years she has become especially passionate about choreographing musicals and helping high school students, even those who might not have much of a dance background, realize how much they are capable of when they show up ready to learn and stretch themselves.
