Description

Ever record a melody on your phone and wonder, “Could this be part of a musical someday?” In this class, we’ll start from scratch and build a short musical together - writing songs that serve the story, not just the sound. Along the way, we’ll explore key musical theater song types like opening numbers, “I Want” songs, villain songs, reprises, and more. You’ll learn how to shape lyrics, craft melodies, and use simple demo-building tools to bring your musical ideas to life.
