In this class, we will take a musical theatre approach to dance that will help students prepare for audition and performance. We will learn fundamental dance steps used in musical theatre while learning mini dance combinations to practice storytelling and character driven choreography. We will focus on technique, character development, emotion through dance, and collaboration for ensemble building. The hope for this class is that students will gain confidence in their dance ability so that they feel more confident in performance.
