Description

Have you ever heard a musical theater song and wondered how they hit that note? Or how they warm up for 8 shows a week on Broadway? Or even how to bring a character to life just through your voice? This is the class for you!! This class introduces students to the exciting world of musicals through fun vocal exercises, games, and songs from beloved musicals.

This class is part of our Studio Class series:
  • Weekly 2-hour class
  • Five months of training in this subject
  • End of session Showcase performance in December 
  • REMINDER: Students can enroll in one Studio class or multiple classes

Sara Murphy

Sara Murphy is a twenty-two year old musical theater performer who has been on the stage since she was five! She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University and has a strong passion for theater! She is excited to help foster students love for singing, acting, and technique! With a deep love for the arts and a strong relationship with Jesus she is ready to get started! Sara is so excited for this opportunity and to be able to work with CYT!
