Who doesn’t love a good story? Storytelling is extremely powerful and has been used for hundreds of years to captivate people’s hearts. It is such an important part of musical theater and one of my favorite things to do. We will be learning techniques on how to apply storytelling to our acting, movement and song. What better way to learn about storytelling than fairytales? In this class we will be exploring different fairytales and combining our newly learned techniques for a heart-warming and magical performance during showcase.
Michelle was born and raised in Franklin TN, and is a Cyt alumni. Practically anything that involves the arts or music you can count her in for! Currently she works in childcare and is a part time photographer. Theatre has been apart of her life from a very early age when she performed in musicals at her church, and since then has been in lots of cyt classes and shows. Although she is not pursing theatre full time, it is still a passion of hers and she hopes to glorify God and share her gifts with others.
