Do you appreciate all different kinds of Musical Theatre styles? Do you love to express yourself through dance? If so, then this is the class for you! During Musical Theatre: Dancing Through The Genres, we will spend time learning some of the most iconic dance combinations from some of the most popular Broadway shows (Hamilton, Chicago, Hairspray, West Side Story - just to name a few). The beauty of musical theatre is that there are so many styles of dance involved! We’ll explore hip-hop, soft-shoe, jazz, Fosse, ballet, contemporary and so much more. We will also focus on equipping each student with the tools to build a strong dance foundation. This class will culminate in a showcase performance of our favorite combos that we learned!
