Description

Want to understand why your favorite songs hit so hard? Ready to stop just singing the notes and start owning them?
In this class, we’ll analyze hits from musical theater, pop, indie, and contemporary musicals (think Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, Six, Alex Warren, and more), then apply what you learn directly to your own voice.

You’ll learn how to:
•  Build better riffs, runs, and harmonies with purpose
•  Understand why certain keys, modulations, and bridges create emotion
•  Improve your ear training and musicianship as a performer
•  Gain confidence reading lead sheets and interpreting scores like a pro

Whether you’re preparing for auditions, writing your own songs, or simply want to sing with deeper musical intelligence, this class bridges music theory and real-world singing in a fun, practical, and singer-focused way

This class is part of our Studio Class series:
  • Weekly 2-hour class
  • Five months of training in this subject
  • End of session Showcase performance in December
  • REMINDER: Students can enroll in one Studio class or multiple classes
