Description

In this hands-on costume class, students will explore the visual world of The Prince of Egypt and learn how costume design helps tell the story of character, culture, and movement. Focusing on the ensemble, we will design and build character-driven costume pieces inspired by ancient Egypt, using texture, color, and silhouette to support storytelling on stage. Students will participate in the creative process from concept to construction, developing practical sewing and design skills along the way. Emphasis will be placed on collaboration, craftsmanship, and creating cohesive ensemble looks that enhance the production as a whole!
