Chasse!  Ball-Change! Chaines turn! Grapevine! Pirouette!  Ok…I know what they are and how to execute the movements, but what do they mean when I’m performing or creating a dance? In this class, we will learn how to create meaningful choreography that expresses the moment of the play through movement and dance.  Alone these movements may not have a specific “meaning” but when created with an understanding of the Moment, Music, Meaning, and e-Motion, a choreographer can move beyond the simple “step” toward creating a piece that elicits feelings and an emotional response from the audience.
