Description

In this class for young performers focused on building confidence, professionalism, and strong audition skills. Students learn slating, cold reading, monologue preparation, basic movement and vocal awareness, and audition room etiquette using age-appropriate material. Emphasis is placed on clear storytelling, making specific choices, listening, and taking direction. Students are guided to view auditions as an opportunity to share their work rather than seek approval. The class culminates in a mock audition showcase, where students present a prepared monologue or short scene in a supportive, professional-style audition setting.
