Description

In this class students will learn to apply their acting skills to musical performances. Learn how to analyze any song utilizing acting terminology such as “objective”, “tactics”, and “beats” to create meaningful, character driven performances. Students will learn to use their voice and body to communicate character and intention. We will also spend time learning how to study the music to create acting choices. Students will be able to apply these skills to both auditions and performances.

Noel Lvovsky

Noel was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She studied acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Circle in the Square and has been working professionally as an actor, singer, dancer, director, producer, and teacher in LA for more years than she’d like to admit. She is blessed beyond measure to call Tennessee her new home with her husband and 2 children. She’s even more thankful to have the opportunity to teach at CYT, Nashville. God is great!
