One of the joys of musicals is how they can bring relatable situations to the stage. There also happen to be so many musicals based around the teenage life. This camp will explore some of these musicals as we discuss the relevant themes found within the plot lines.

Elise Horecka

Elise Horecka grew up in Nashville and began her dance training at the age of 4. Her theatre training started a few years later, and she eventually found a true passion in creating and teaching. After working as a choreographer and dance teacher in various theatre and dance programs since she was 16, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Entertainment Industry Studies and Theatre at Belmont University. She loves her CYT family, and is so happy God led her here.

Chandler Caroccio

Chandler Caroccio graduated Flagler College with honors and a B.A. in Theater Arts in May 2014. She now works for a production company in Franklin, TN and is excited about her new opportunity to teach for CYT. Some of her latest projects include CCM United and Bluegrass Underground. Although she has dedicated most of her college and now professional career to lighting, she is looking forward to going back to acting. She was a teaching assistant for two college classes (Tech 1 and Tech 2) and hopes the children will be interested to learn about all the different aspects of theater. She would like to thank CYT for this great opportunity!
